THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER AND IT IS NOT A BAD THING TO COME HUNGRY.

LENTINE ALEXIS

I am so deeply devoted to supporting you in trusting the intelligence your body, returning to your most primal, simple and satisfying way of eating so you can elevate the joy and satiation in your eating and your life.

If we are disconnected from our body sense, we are depriving ourselves of some of the greatest sources of our health and happiness.

When our eating consumes our thoughts and creates stress in our days, it can so quickly steel our focus away from our true purpose.

Likewise, we are not just fed by food, but rather by the many other aspects of our lives. Our food is so much more than what we find on our plates.

We need food for the body and food for the soul.

That said, I have another soul-satiating episode for you today.

When I met Lentine Alexis, I was so curious as to how she bridged all of her passions into a beautiful tapestry of business and life –– a classically trained pastry chef and former professional endurance athlete with a sprinkle of Ayurveda.

Lentine uses her bicycle, raw life, travel experiences and organic ingredients to inspire people to dig deeper, live bigger and more deliciously.

Today's episode is all about:

  • How adventures, travel and connecting with folks from all over the world through food is a porthole into the culture and beauty of humankind.

  • The very staples a pastry chef, endurance athlete and Ayurvedic inspired practitioner keeps in her pantry! (Hint: they are not what you would think)

  • How she (and you too!) can add more sweetness to your food and life –– not only through the ingredients your choose but also through the emotional, physical and psychological sweetness within what you eat and how you live.

  • The RECIPE to the delicious treat –– Coconut + Cacao Crispy Rice Bars –– pictured above. Hallelujah! Thank you Lentine!

Lentine Alexis and she is a curious, classically trained chef, cookbook author + former professional endurance athlete.

She uses her bicycle, raw life and travel experiences and organic ingredients to inspire everyone to dig deeper, live bigger + more deliciously through food.

Before Lentine became a classically trained Chef, she spent nine years as a professional endurance triathlete and yoga instructor, living in Asia, Europe and the United States and cultivating a career in international diplomacy. As she found myself in foreign environments, she also encountered foreign definitions of what it meant to fuel life and sport. Her approach to feeding her body and soul was forced to adapt too. Lentine became fascinated with the way that cooking and eating real food made me feel in my training and racing, and felt a monumental shift in her well-being as an athlete and a person in the world. She soon found that the work she longed to do through policy couldn’t shine a candle to the kind of change she imagined in the world if we all turned our focus to sharing, enjoying, connecting and exploring through food.

Today, she takes an Ayurvedic approach to creating recipesmenus, and ideas that fuel athletes + adventures for everyone; She writespeak, and activate ideas, inspiring healthy lifestyles all over the world. She also share my pastries, treats + cooking with others, and has worked with companies like Skratch Labs to develop delicious products and craft experiences that fuel body and soul.

This work reminds her always that challenges are opportunities in disguise, and that she has the tools to take on whatever comes her way. Lentine strives to serve her work as tools for you to fuel your own adventures in mind/body/spirit/soul. The world is your oyster, and that it’s not a bad thing to come hungry.

Here's to remembering that the world really is still our oyster, even though it does't really feel that way lately.

As always, take extra good care of you.
